Down & Out was born out of our passion for the dance scene and a desire to get involved. The story began in 2011 where the founders Daniel Lloyd, James Lloyd, Ryan Chichester, Matthew Frowen and Daniel Perkins started hosting events in Cardiff, pontypridd and all over the rhondda and surrounding areas. DJs & producers on our rosters play a major role in the organisation and general set up of the label and each share an equal responsibilty in pushing the label to new levels.

Always looking to push things forward and remain true to our underground roots, Down And Out have begun to host nights holding a huge number of its ever growing fan base taking place at numerous clubs throughout the south wales area. These events are hugely successful and pull a huge amount of support from fans and local business`s.

Many of the young DJs who are on our roster are continuously driven to become bigger and better playing at many events that Down And Out host. We began to book our artists all over Wales and the UK, and then across the international dance scene to further our live shows and give something back to our fans!.

Down And Out DJs also take things to the next level as promoters around the areas they live in to show their support for Down And Out and their events. A diverse selection of artists has been part of the roster since the beginning and just a few of the names we have represented include the creators Daniel Lloyd, James Lloyd, Ryan Chichester and lots of others.

DJ bookings are the heart of Down And Out DJs and we bring a forward-thinking attitude to everything we do. As well as representation worldwide, many artists on our roster are also available for remix and production commissions including music synchronisation. Reflecting the changes taking place in the music industry, Down And Out now has more of a management role with several of our artists and helps with all aspects of their career.

Music programming forms another part of the equation and we also represent club nights and our own record label Down And Out Recordings. We manage our own event`s from poster design right down to the equipment set up a full musical concierge service. We always strive on excellence as a company and for our DJs.

A lot of our DJs are also up and coming producers creating some of the freshest most unique sounds on the planet.many of the releases from this label will be featured on sites such as beatport, iTunes, trackitdown etc. and can be found in the artists page selection.
